My cat Ponyo has an eating disorder called PICA, where he compulsively eats foreign material. I have spent a lot of time training and enriching him to limit the amount of anxiety within him to help combat that compulsive behavior. This does not solve the issue but manages it. Ponyo has had obstruction before from eating foreign material, resulting in him needing surgery, which was about 8k. Unfortunately he has yet another possible obstruction and I can not afford to pay for his possible surgery, the steep price now being 12k. Every dollar goes a long way in the care for this boy. When he gets through this, I assure you I will be devoting a lot of time to help manage this behavior even more. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
