I got new hearing aids after my old ones kept breaking and wouldn't hold a charge for as long as they should. My old ones were a couple generations behind, and the sound quality is so much better with the new ones. There are a bunch of cool new Bluetooth features too that don't require buying extra hardware.

I'm giving these new hearing aids a test run for a month, and they will bill insurance first, but I already know they won't be covered. The full bill is $4900. I can use money I've been saving for other expenses to make a partial payment, but I have limited income on SSDI, and hearing is most important to me.
