Help Cover Telleshia's Medical Expenses & Basic Essentials

Telleshia Green strives to be a better human being.

The 52-year-old single woman from San Manuel has always had a big heart.

Though possessing limited financial resources, she has consistently given money to a variety of charitable causes.

But despite having what most would consider a tough life - (Telleshia has been on her own since age 14, she’s battled other forms of cancer between ages 15-23, and has been especially challenged the last five years with a diagonal fracture in L5 and the murder of her son 2 1/2 years ago) - she has a deep love for people and the dogs she grooms and pet sits.

Because of her life history, it is difficult for her to ask for help.

That’s why her friends have decided to ask on her behalf by establishing a GoFundMe account in her name to help with medical costs and basic essentials for life.

At age 15, Telleshia develop cysts on her right ovary and a softball sized tumor on her left ovary. Over the next six years she underwent seven surgeries the last one being a total hysterectomy in which the ovaries and cervix were also removed.

On July 29 of 2023, she suffered a major heart attack resulting in significant scar tissue that left her with only 75 to 80% heart function.

Then on April 9 of this year, her blood pressure spiked sending her to Banner hospital‘s emergency room. A chest x-ray showed that her left lung had “consolidated” prompting doctors to order a CT scan. The scan showed three spots on the left lung, one being on a lymph node. The fourth spot is a 4.5 cm mass on her adrenal gland. Telleshia has recently been fast tracked to the University of Arizona Cancer center where she has an MRI scheduled for her adrenal gland on May 20 and a CT scan scheduled for May 3 that will be compatible with a biopsy procedure called an Ion Robotic Bronchoscopy that is scheduled for May 9, 2025.

Though she has health insurance, it does not come close to covering her medical bills. Her policy has a $7000 deductible. Her co-pay for an MRI is more than $600, and her co-pay for a CT scan is more than $400. Her co-pay for each medical procedure is $2300 and she has not even seen the bill she currently owes the doctors and surgeons.

Telleshia has no relatives she can ask for help. She has no church affiliation and her only source of income comes from her pet grooming and pet sitting which she has continued doing despite feeling quite ill. If you can help Telleshia, please contribute to her fund.
