Hello everyone, I have put off asking/posting anything because of two reasons. One who wants to hear about feminine health problems, and two I don’t like to ask for help. But here we are. About six years ago, I started experiencing some significant feminine health problems. I tried some holistic approaches to rectify the problem, which did not work. In 2024 I had my first hysterectomy (uterus only for hormone reasons) I thought that this would rectify the problems. However, six months later I ended up in the ER in excruciating pain again. Multiple ER visits followed. After meeting with my doctor, another surgery was scheduled. Now for the women that are reading this, you will understand that it always takes several months to get in after a problem has been discovered. So six months after my last ER visit, I was scheduled for another surgery which took place on Feb 17th of this year. This one was just to remove the problem ovary. It should’ve been a routine surgery, but when my doctor got in there, the endometriosis & scar tissue was so bad that he couldn’t even find my ovaries. With that being said, he has referred me to a specialist. The specialist should be able to take care of the problem, but the cost is not covered by my insurance because it’s out of network hence the purpose of me posting all of this personal information that nobody really wants to hear about. I already owe $4500 for the surgery this year that was unsuccessful, and my first visit to the special list is $500. I have no idea, at this point, how much the remaining cost will be to complete the next surgery, but I do know that it is not something that I can afford. With all of that being said, I need your help. ANY amount will go directly towards my surgeries in an attempt to get me well. The pain is something that I deal with on a daily basis, not to mention the additional health issues that it causes.
