I don’t usually ask for help like this, but I’m facing a situation where I can’t reasonably do this on my own.
I’ve been dealing with multiple hernias that have progressively become more painful and are now affecting my ability to function day-to-day. After putting it off as long as I could, I need to move forward with surgery to fix them and prevent things from getting worse.
Because there are three hernias involved, this isn’t a simple recovery. I will need time to heal properly, follow through with physical therapy, and avoid lifting or straining—especially important as a mom. During that time, I’ll also need reliable childcare so I can recover safely without risking further injury.
I’ve done my best to plan responsibly, but even with insurance, the costs add up quickly:
- Surgery and medical expenses
- Physical therapy during recovery
- Childcare for about a month while I heal
The total I’m working to cover is around $13,000–$15,000, which reflects my deductible, expected out-of-pocket costs, and basic recovery needs.
If you’re able to contribute, it would directly go toward making sure I can get this surgery done and recover the right way. If you’re not in a position to give, sharing this still helps more than you know.
I appreciate you taking the time to read this and for any support—whether that’s financial, sharing, or simply being in my corner while I get through this.
Thank you
