Help Cover Sue Pekoc's Funeral Expenses

SUSAN PEKOC (nee Spackman), age 60 of Mayfield Heights, OH, passed away on June 6, 2025.

Beloved daughter of Adrienne Spackman (nee Kofron), dearest mother of Amber Lupardus, Anna Peko (George), and Nicole Mayer (Marc), loving grandmother of Robert and Lilly Lupardus, Jake and Joe Peko, and MJ, Lottie, and Lainey Sue Mayer, dear sister of Kristen “Sho” Tash (George), Tim Spackman (Jean), and Elaine Eberlin, aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by her father, Tom Spackman and her sisters Mindy Gromek and Kelly Tonti.

Sue was a woman of profound faith and quiet strength. She cared deeply for those she loved. Though she had her fair share of struggles, she provided her daughters with a childhood filled with love, warmth, and unforgettable memories.

If she wasn’t coaching or organizing a rec or St. Dominic sports team, she was getting everyone outside to play a game of running bases or cheering on all of the Cleveland sports teams.

Sue’s love for her grandchildren, children, mom, nieces and nephews, siblings, and extended family was boundless. She was the heart of her family - the reason her daughters value unity and share deep bonds to this day. She organized yearly trips to Conneaut Lake, PA, family softball teams (Go Green Machine!), and an infinite number of family parties at the Greenlawn house where she didn’t even bother to ask for RSVPs because she knew Spackmans don’t RSVP but would show up with energy and smiles anyways, like they always do.

As we mourn her loss, we hold tightly to the joy, laughter, love and faith she gave us. Her spirit lives on in each of us.
