I NEED HELP PLEASE COME TO THIS FUNDRAISER.... or maybe read this?

Hi hi y'all! I want to be super transparent about why I'm finally asking for help. I rarely complain, but I'm sick of being quiet! I've been sick since June 15, 2020, and have been struggling ever since. What people don't warn you about becoming disabled is the mental toll the medical system messes you over with. In this system, I have been seen by many wonderful doctors, but I've also been seen by horrible ones, been medically gaslit, and worse. Sigh. And within this, there's one thing... insurance.

The motive behind this is that my insurance isn't helping me. I have been a victim of denying, defending, and delaying to the point I just keep getting sicker. It's horrible.

In December, my doctors and I worked on rediagnosis since I have had new difficulties pop up, of course…

Like 3 messed up crowns and a sketchy dentist for $1450

And having to start over for a fun $200

And Butters having a UTI and teeth issues for another $1450

And a breathing test for $500

And a barely functioning ramp for $130

And glasses for $400

But with 80/20, my actual chair could cost $2k-$2.5k, which means I have to cough up $400-$550

This all totals to $4600

I have managed to get some help with a lot of this, but it's still not enough. I've tried to get work and managed to actually get cut/fired. So now I'm even more stuck. With help, I have managed to just have $2480 left unless my insurance helps me with Butter’s vet bill.

I haven't asked people for much; I never ask for money, so for once in my life, I'm reaching out and begging for help. And if you aren't in a good spot either, that's ok! Coming to our event and/or sharing this is enough! Help from afar, write this off on your taxes, use me as an excuse to get off work, or an excuse to get someone to vaccinate—whatever helps everyone.

These 6 years have been the hardest and most traumatic years of my life, and I'm lucky to be alive at all. It's been hard staying alive mentally and medically, and I genuinely can't wait for this show because I'm so grateful someone cared enough about me to give me their time and energy enough to help create and put on such a fun performance!
