My name is Dave Lasseter and I am one of the ministers at Rainbow Church of Christ. On January 10th, 2025, my uncle, Stanley Stroup, passed away after a battle with Lymphoma. For most of the last year, Stanley grew too weak due to his treatments and was unable to work. This led to him experiencing financial hardships and at his passing, he did not have life insurance or any way to cover the cost of his memorial service. We believed that this was going to be taken care of, but unfortunately, only a portion of the amount due was paid to the funeral home. This has left some of his remaining family to cover the cost. I believe we can all relate to how challenging it is to cover that kind of cost in a short amount of time. Stanley helped so many of us through the years, so I was hoping that maybe together, we could raise the funds to help cover the cost.
