Hello.

My name is Kathy and I am trying to raise money to help pay for a dear friend's vet bill. His dog, Shadow, recently passed away due to health issues and his vet bill + accommodations for the passing is quite high. My friend is already dealing with the finances for his mother's sudden health decline, and his dog passing is the last thing he needed right now.

Shadow has been in his family for about nine years. Shadow is a sweet yet rambunctious guard dog that instantly melts your heart with his energy and sass. My friend, James, had Shadow when he was a little puppy. Small, round, and dark as the name he was given. Sometimes Shadow can be a bit naughty, and destroy a pillow or two, but he was loved nonetheless and he gave that love back in kind.

He would have been 10 in March of this year.

His sudden passing has left a tremendous hole in both the owner's heart and the hearts of everyone that had the honor of meeting Shadow.
