I'm reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. My beloved dog Roxy, a rescue who I adopted at the age of 1 from Boxer Rescue, who is not just a pet but my lifeline, has recently been diagnosed with anal gland adenocarcinoma. If you've had the pleasure of meeting Roxy, you know just how special she is—her loving nature and joyful spirit light up every room.

The vet has recommended surgery to remove the tumor, which is crucial for giving Roxy the best chance at a longer, healthier life. By removing the tumor, we can prevent further complications and significantly improve her quality of life, allowing her to continue to bring joy and comfort to those around her.

As we prepare for this surgery and the necessary aftercare, I'm humbly asking for your support. UPDATE- Just four short months after her first surgery, the cancer has unfortunately returned in the same spot. At this point, another surgery isn’t the best option. But we’re not giving up. We’ve decided to move forward with chemotherapy—not a cure, but a way to hopefully slow the cancer and give her more quality time.

The cost of monthly chemotherapy, along with the frequent vet visits for bloodwork, ultrasounds, and X-rays, is overwhelming. I would do anything for her, but I can’t manage this alone. I’m reaching out for help with these expenses, and any contribution means the world to us.
