Hi, my name is Riley and I am trying to raise funds to cover my sweet old lady cat’s vet visits. About a month ago, Rosie started behaving out of character (hiding from her favorite people, drinking more water, sleeping way more than normal, not being her typically friendly self). I took her to the vet four times in the last month or so to try to figure out what was wrong, fearing the worst. Fortunately, she does not have cancer like we worried about, but a severe infection in one of her kidneys, causing her other kidney to overcompensate and for her to be in a lot of pain. This broke my heart, but I am just relieved now that she’ll be in my life for a little longer. This gofundme is to raise enough money to cover the costs of her vet care, which wiped out my savings.
