Rene Tanner's End-of-Life Expense Fundraiser
Donation protected
Rene Tanner gave so much of his time and energy for the ideals he believed in, and in focusing on giving to others, wasn't as good at giving to himself.
Rene's death unexpectedly from a heart attack on October 26 has left his wife Lisa Madelle Bottomley with unexpected financial challenges. He had been feeling unwell for some time and sought medical help for various issues, including high blood pressure and kidney stones, leaving unpaid medical bills that were not covered by his insurance.

Lisa is facing a cash crisis as she attempts to pay these bills, as well as normal monthly expenses, on one income instead of two. René’s life insurance policy is small and will help Lisa to transition to one income, but in the meantime, she needs our help to deal with the immediate bills.
We know many of you were touched directly by Rene's generosity, his depth of spirit and volunteerism, and his willingness to help a neighbor. We've created this Go-Fund-Me campaign on behalf of Lisa, and are asking if you can help; even a small contribution will make a huge difference in Lisa's ability to move on to the next phase of her life.
Rene would not have wanted Lisa to be left with these financial burdens. This is a way we can help Rene... Thanks for your generosity.
