In Loving Memory of Phuoc “Bo” Do
(March 30, 1991- August 2, 2025)
It is with deep sorrow that we share the sudden passing of my cousin, Phuoc Do, at the young age of 34 years old, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Phuoc was known as Bo by his family, Bo was born on March 30, 1991, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. His life was tragically cut short far too soon.
Bo was a bright, funny, and resourceful soul. Many of us who grew up with him share memories of his light-hearted spirit, clever ideas, and infectious laughter. I remember vividly the reenactment of ridiculous WWE wrestling moves that my brother and Bo would practice on each other, and unfortunately on me, after every time they watched WWE together. We would spend most of our childhood together at church, family gatherings, at the mall and the arcade. Times were much easier for Bo then. His mother, Le Thi Quy, raised him selflessly, working hard to put his needs first and to make sure he was well taken care of. All her hard work was for him to have a better future. However, his life had many challenges and struggles. He did what he could, unfortunately, his time was ended too soon to continue the pursuit for a better life for him and his mother. He shared a verse in 2016 and in 2020 that he held dear, Philippians 3:13-14 Brothers and sisters, I know that I still have a long way to go. But there is one thing I do: I forget what is in the past and try as hard as I can to reach the goal before me.
His passing has left a deep void in our hearts. We are now left to grieve the unimaginable loss.
We are raising funds to help cover hospital and memorial expenses. This support would provide much-needed relief to his mother during this incredibly difficult time. No one is ever prepared to lose a loved one, and any contribution — no matter the amount — will be deeply appreciated.
Please consider donating, and if you're unable to give, sharing this page with others would also mean so much.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness and support.
