I am a Town of New Ashford resident and learned about the tragic event that ultimately wound up taking the life of a dog named Penny as identified on her collar

She was hit on Rte 7 early in the morning of December 19. A local family found her and tried to save her life by taking her to a local veterinarian at Wahconah Vet Services.

Unfortunately, her injuries were too severe to save her, and she had to be euthanized.

This fund campaign is to help cover the veterinarian cost.
