Help Cover Pak Wil’s Surgery in Bangkok

Our father Wil, requires major surgery for Cholesteatoma (destructive and expanding growth of keratinizing squamous epithelium in the middle ear). He does have BPJS Indonesian Insurance, but it only covers medical care in Indonesia, and doctors here have recommended that he does this surgery in Thailand. We feel very confident with the hospital there and grateful that this is operable, and the medical team working with him is expects him to make a full recovery.

Ibu Robin will fly to Bangkok to be with him during the procedure. Due to the position of the surgery, Pak Wil cannot fly for a few weeks after surgery, and will need to recover in Thailand.

Over the years Wil has been the back up ambulance driver, the guy who delivers the midwife. He helps Bumi Sehat in a million ways, computer and music support, fundraising, heavy lifting, helping during the clinic construction, even cooking for the doulas and midwives. We need your help to restore Wil’s hearing and prevent complications, that could quickly become serious.
