In August of 2023, we found out my mom had cancer. It was through an MRI of her lungs, and was labeled an incidental finding. After two biopsies, many doctor appointments later, they figure out it’s a very rare kind: thynoma carcinoma. She has a tumor sitting on her thymus which is located by the esophagus. The oncologist at UNM hospital, thought trying to operate on it, could have killed her, so we went the keep her comfortable route. Shes been on hospice for nearly 2 years, and the decline is coming to an end. Due to multiple deaths in the family, emergency moves across the country, traveling for doctors appointments, the biopsies, and medical expenses prior we’re seeking help to cover after life expenses such as, cremation costs, the urn, death certificates, and transportation fees.
Cremation $4k
Urn $100
Death certificates $10 each (I will need at least 5 of them)
