Help Cover Memorial Expenses for Lenny

Hello there,

 

My name is Dallas Steffen, brother of Lenny Steffen. Lenny was killed in a multi-car accident around 11:00 PM on Thursday, November 4. To me, he was a wonderful and loved brother but to others, he was a son, father, brother, and good friend.

 

 

 

 

He is survived by his mother, Lorraine, and father, James, 3 brothers (Orlyn, Hank, and myself) and 1 sister (Loretta). He is also survived by his oldest son, Kaiden, and another younger son, Ford.

 

Lenny dedicated his life to help those around him and always tried to get a laugh from those around him. He loved making people laugh. He was a good man that wanted the world for his sons. Before his death that night, he hoped to get off work early the following Saturday to spend more time with his son, Kaiden. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved his birds (or his ladies and his "attack geese" as he would call them.)

 

 

 

 

We are all devastated by Lenny's loss and were not prepared for the costs of his cremation and memorial service. We want to give Lenny the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say goodbye and come to terms with this loss.

 

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Lenny’s cremation. We need to raise $2,500 by 11/30/21 in order to be able to afford covering the cost.

 

We are holding a memorial service Saturday, November 13th at 2:30PM at the Church of the Nazarene in Backus, Minnesota that is open to the community. If you would like to drop off prayers, donations, and/or memories of Lenny, our family welcomes you to do so.
