On Friday, March 13 (in Kansas City, MO) while driving back from a spring break road trip, Noah and three college friends were in a head on collision at 75 mph. Noah suffered a severe brain injury, multiple skull fractures, multiple facial fractures and a broken femur. He is fighting for his life in the hospital. He is still not following commands or opening his eyes, but the medical team believes he will. He has more movement on his left side than his right due to the brain injury and he also had a hemi-craniotomy. He has had two surgeries already and will require a few more.
His family is here supporting him from California. We do not know how long he will be in the hospital or what recovery will look like. His family would like to stay here to be with him. Any financial assistance is appreciated. Please remember them in your prayers. We are praying for a full recovery and strength during this process. Please keep all those involved and their families in your prayers. As we pray, we remember 2 Corinthians 4:7-11
Treasure in Jars of Clay
[7] But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. [8] We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; [9] persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; [10] always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our bodies. [11] For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
