Help cover medical expenses for Mariela and Tony

While visiting her mom in San Juan Del Rio, right after Christmas, Mariela began to have debilitating pain and was hospitalized twice while they tried to find out what was wrong. She returned to Mexico City and had many more tests until they learned that her intestine was blocked and she needed surgery. They operated and cleared the blockage and she went back to be with Tony to recover. However, the pain returned and she rushed back to Mexico City where she had emergency surgery to remove some of her intestines. She has still not recovered, and has had to go back for more tests to see what is happening.

 

The hospitalizations, operations, tests and medicines have been huge expenses and Mariela is weak and not able to work, so financial support for her living expenses are also needed. Hopefully we can come together as a community to support Mariela and Tony in the midst of this frightening and difficult time. Please offer whatever support you can.

Tony and Mariela are dear and longterm friends of mine. They are both Sensory Awareness leaders and people deeply committed to healing and bringing more love and connection into our world. All donations will go to my bank account in Mill Valley, California and I will transfer the money to Mariela in Mexico City so that she can pay for all of these medical expenses.
