Covering Medical Expenses and Staying Afloat

Hello All,

I am stepping way out of my comfort zone by setting up this Go Fund Me, but alas, this is my last resort to stay afloat. As some of you may know, I took what was supposed to be a short leave of absence from work to start getting things in order with Mom in terms of appointments with doctors, lawyers, etc. Unfortunately, during that time my health took a major downturn that ended up with me being hospitalized for a while here in Augusta.

At this point, I am still waiting on a diagnosis and treatment plan, which I hope to have answers about this week. In the meantime, I remain on leave, unpaid, and the medical bills have already started rolling in. I know many of us are also trying to hold it down in this economy, but any help you could provide would be so greatly appreciated.
