Hello people… On August 8, 2024, I severely broke my leg doing what I love - skateboarding. In my 18 years of skateboarding, I have never broken a bone until now. I have a very long road to recovery ahead up to a year before I’m skating again. I needed emergency surgery with a rod and screws. Thank goodness for health insurance because the total hospital bill is still climbing, and already well above $100,000.

I may also need an additional surgery to fix the other bone in my leg, but we won’t know for at least another four weeks.

My physical therapy will only be covered until the end of the year because health insurance out of pocket maximum starts over. So, I’m looking to raise some money to cover my maximum out-of-pocket costs and physical therapy costs at the start of the year. I want to get back to skateboarding as soon as possible, but I know that’s going to take a significant amount of time and physical therapy. Help me get back to doing what I love!
