Dear family and friends,

On the evening of September 7th, while spending time with my family, we stopped at a gas station on our way home to purchase some snacks. As we approached the station, my brother noticed a man with an assault rifle across the street. In the ensuing chaos, I sought refuge in my car but was shot four times through the rear window. Despite my injuries, I managed to get around the corner before realizing the extent of my wounds. I was urgently transported to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery.
