I didn't ask for this to happen, yet I am paying ($) for it!

In November 2024, walking just 1 block away from my NYC workplace, I was struck by an SUV. I immediately knew that I had suffered severe injuries, including internal bleeding and multiple fractures (pelvic, leg, both shoulder blades, eye orbit, ribs, vertebrae, etc.). After emergency surgery, and the insertion of a plate and screws into my pelvis and leg during surgery, I spent a month at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medicine, as a trauma patient. Recovery is slow, despite working hard in physical and occupational therapy, and as of January 2025, I’m still in a wheelchair and on medical leave from my job, earning much less $. Ongoing medical, surgical, and hospital expenses continue to mount, so I’m humbly sharing my story and asking for help please through my GoFundMe to cover the costs of my important medical care.
