Michelle's 18 year old daughter is currently in critical condition and undergoing intensive treatment after becoming the innocent victim of a devastating act of gun violence in Connecticut.

She has suffered unimaginable trauma. She was struck by a bullet that tore through her esophagus and exited through her shoulder blade. She has already undergone multiple emergency surgeries and faces a long, uncertain road to recovery.

Michelle and her daughter Celia have been by Alissa's side and need all of our support.

Right now, Alissa remains hospitalized and continues to receive life-saving care. The medical expenses are already overwhelming — and they will continue to grow as she requires further procedures, rehabilitation, and ongoing support.
