In September 2025, I began having chronic and very uncomfortable stomach issues - nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea that would last days - unresponsive to OTC or RX medication.

After a CT scan in November, my PCP discovered I had developed gallstones that were determined to be the culprit of the digestive issues. The end result was that a cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) was needed.

The cholecystectomy was done on January 8th, 2026. It turns out that I am very lucky I didn't wait longer for treatment (which I had been considering due to the financial impact of all of this) as the gallbladder was very inflamed, showing signs of infection, and thinning in one spot indicating it was close to rupturing.

Now that all is said and done, I am on the mend medically, but now find myself in a position where I have no way to cover these medical costs, and I am worried it will put me in a situation where I might lose my home.

Any help to pay the medical bills is greatly appreciated.
