Hello all! My name is Natalie Burdick, and I am an independent foster for neonatal kittens. Caring for vulnerable newborn kittens has become a passion of mine, and I am dedicated to giving them the best possible start in life, especially those who might not otherwise have a chance.

Recently, I took in a mother cat along with her 10 kittens, all of which were infested with parasites and battling upper respiratory infections. While I have extensive experience fostering and always take full responsibility for the animals in my care, I have never taken on a litter this large. Providing proper care for all 11 cats is a significant financial undertaking.

I am committed to ensuring every cat I foster receives essential veterinary care, including spay and neuter procedures, viral testing, and vaccinations before they are placed into loving homes. These steps are crucial not only for the health of each individual cat but also for helping reduce overpopulation and preventing the spread of disease.

As a recent college graduate, I am still working to establish financial stability, and the unexpected scale of this rescue has made it difficult to cover all the necessary expenses on my own. Alongside this obstacle, another more urgent issue has arisen. One of the youngest kittens in my care has a severely dislocated hip which will soon need corrective surgery to ensure she can live a pain-free life and have proper movement and growth. I am reaching out for support to help offset the costs of medical care, supplies, and daily needs for this large feline family.
