Help Cover Medical Bills for Motorcycle Accident Victim

On May 1st, 2024 I was in a motorcycle accident, where a car turned into my lane, and launched me from my bike almost requiring amputation of my lower left leg. I was transferred via life flight to conemaugh memorial medical center where they evaluated the situation. May 1st into May 2nd I had my first surgery where they were able to attatch my lower leg which consisted of multiple compound (open) fractures of my tibia and fibula bones where they placed an external fixator devise to hold my leg together. The following days up until the 6th of May I underwent 3 more surgeries 2 of which were cleaning and debriment of my calf muscle where they removed some. The final one on the 5th was where they made an incision above my knee to place a nail (rod) through my tibia bone to try and stabilize it requiring 17 staples and removal of external fixator where I was informed a possible 3-12% chance of infection due to the severity of the wound. I was then discharged from the hospital to the Crichton rehabilitation center nearby for OT and PT treatment non weight bearing to my leg. I spent the rest of the month of may there learning activities of daily living again. On the 23rd of May my legs swelling went down some where the doctor had to go back in and place a plate and screws in my lower fibula where it was also separated from the ankle joint. I was discharged from rehab on the 28th of May and went to stay at my Dads house due to my home having to many stairs. I then underwent treatment to the Wound Clinic and check ups from the Orthopedic Doctors at Somerset UPMC and Western Orthopedics in Westmont Pa. On July 8th I was informed and infection had started in my leg sending me to UPMC Somerset ER to try and catch it early. I was then taken back to Conemaugh Medical Center by ambulance to be evaluated due to them being the ones doing the previous surgeries. I was put on a very strong antibiotic called vancomycin which had some severe side effects including kidney failure and loss of hearing praying I do not get that as it is to treat the infection. I was informed also July 9th , 2024 that I will be going into surgery July 10th to reopen the wounds and try and clean and remove any infection saying I will be placed on a wound vac machine and bed iv for approximately 6 weeks. I am asking for help with medical bills due to the lady that hit me insurance not being enough and also loss of work and continued to pay regular bills such as home rent and regular bills while I am in the hospital. I was not sure on what to ask for as my hospital bills continue to pile up and transferring insurances from my work to Medicaid and hoping they get covered mostly as they’re well over $300,000.
