We are raising funds for the funeral expenses of 10.5-year-old Matthewos Amanuel, a special needs child with Down syndrome. Matthewos loved to give big hugs, play with puzzles and was always smiling. He was kind and a beautiful person.

Matthewos along with his mother came to the U.S. from Eritrea about 2 weeks ago, and he suddenly died in his sleep on May 19, 2025.

Not only does Matthewos's mother have to experience the pain of losing her only child but now has to deal with the mounting funeral expenses. She would greatly appreciate any donations you can offer, for it's been a rough time for the family.
