Hi, my name is Vinita and my dog Mars has recently gotten sick. For the past three weeks she’s been having a hard time keeping food down and her condition is progressively getting worse. She’s growing weaker every day because she won’t eat any food. We’ve tried everything to get her to eat but it doesn’t work. We went to an emergency vet at 1am a week ago because she was vomiting and they gave her medicine but it didn’t help, there’s something wrong with her internally that can’t be fixed with just medication. A couple days ago her breathing started to get worse and she was hiding in spots in the backyard she never used to go to before. They said we might have to start to consider letting her go but I wanted to get another opinion so I went to a different vet who suggested surgery to help remove what’s hurting her.

She is currently on an IV and will be going into surgery today, where they will hopefully remove what is hurting her and help her feel better.

We are so thankful to have been able to find this doctor but the first visit to the emergency vet set us behind a lot and this surgery is an even greater cost on top of that. If you can donate anything no matter how small I, my dad, my brother, and Mars would appreciate it so much. Mars is the sweetest most loving dog with the most vibrant personality, I couldn’t stand to see her that way and I would do anything I possibly could to save her.
