Hi All, 

As most of you know we quite had the rug ripped out from under us last weekend, when our amazing, witty and beautiful mother and wife suffered a major heart attack. No one expects these kinds of things to happen to someone so young. We certainly did not! Watching my wife (& Rex’s mom) be intubated on the floor of her of her bedroom, while several large Men did compressions on her chest was not part of our Saturday plans! Neither where all of the crippling and mounting medical bills! So while we as a familyWould never want to ask for donations, at this time I believe that it will be the only way to allow Mandie to heal from the emotional, mental  and physical trauma she suffered! And allow us to continue to be strong family without Mandie  believing she has to bare the brunt of the financial responsibility! We all know how kind and generous she is so let’s show her some love!! Thank you so much to all of you who have already reached out, sent flowers, brought meals, filled our fridge, walked our dog or whatever to help us!!! Your actions cannot be repaid! But hopefully we can support Mandie & Me & Rex in healing! We plan on giving a sizable donation Also to the countless firefighters, EMTs, and doctors and nurses who are responsible for Mandie being here with us today!!!
