Hi everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to reach out and share what’s been going on with me. Over the past couple of years, I’ve been dealing with some ongoing health issues that have required me to take time off work — sometimes for several months at a time. Most recently, I was on disability leave for about six months.

Unfortunately, during that time, my disability payments were delayed, and despite having a supplemental insurance policy meant to help in situations like this, they’ve chosen not to pay out — largely due to issues happening in Washington, D.C. As a result, I’ve fallen behind on my bills and rent. I’ve always been very independent and self-reliant, so asking for help doesn’t come easily to me. But I’ve reached a point where I truly need it. I’m sharing this because the situation has become critical, and any assistance would make a real difference.
