Help cover life flight and NICU costs for Ivy
Donation protected
Hello,
We are raising funds for our brother and sister-in-law Aaron and Mikaylie Bagley. Aaron and Mik welcomed sweet baby girl Ivy into the world after a difficult labor and an emergency C-section. Due to some complications during delivery, Ivy experienced Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE), a brain injury that occurs when your brain doesn't get enough blood and oxygen and which can cause brain damage.
Shortly after birth she was life flighted to the University of Utah medical center and has been treated for HIE in the NICU. Treatment involved cooling her body for 72 hours and then warming her up to both try and reverse the effects of HIE and prevent toxins building up to create possible additional brain damage. We are so grateful for the life-saving medical treatments the UofU has provided! Ivy is undergoing additional testing and an MRI to test for brain damage and will be in the NICU for a few more days until she can breathe and eat on her own.
We'd love your help in assisting Aaron and Mik cover the unexpected expenses of life flight, a NICU stay and expensive, life-saving medical treatments for Ivy.
