Our family is asking for support during an unexpected and difficult time. My father-in-law was recently arrested following an incident where he stepped in after his son was punched in the face because of his sexual orientation. What happened in that moment has now led to serious legal and financial challenges.

He was acting out of concern for his child, but now faces legal fees, court costs, and lost wages that he was not prepared for.
