Dear community,

we are reaching out to you with heavy hearts to ask for help for Kris and his family. Kris was walking his dog after work when he was unexpectedly pulled down a hill and as a result, broke his neck. In his current condition, he is paralyzed from the neck down, leaving him out of work and in immense pain.

We are nervously awaiting for updates on his condition and trying to remain positive. His family will be drastically impacted by this tragedy, in addition to the devastating burden of medical costs. Please consider donating whatever you can to help this loving father, husband, and beloved staple of our community so that his family can stay afloat while navigating this situation. Kris has taken care of so many people in his personal life and in his work at Westville Pub, lets do our best to take care of him.

Katy, his partner, has also requested help with finding a place for them in West Asheville where he can recover, as their current living situation has been a financial burden.
