My name is Dirk Fisher and I am raising money to help cover funeral home costs for my Dad, Kane Fisher, who recently passed away on the morning of 10/11/2025.

For those of you who never got to meet my father, he was larger than life (literally, that's where our height comes from) and had a heart of gold. The biggest value that he passed on to me in life was perseverance and to never give up on whatever it is you set out to do.

My Dad was also one of the best treasure hunters to walk the earth, and he was relentless in his quest to locate and recover the Spanish shipwreck Nuestra Señora de Atocha. Even after losing his own brother Dirk (my Uncle) at sea, he pressed on and years later finally located the shipwreck. I think this was his crowning achievement in life and I always admired him for his dedication to his craft. Every day I try to show up in life with that same drive.

Every time I'm on a boat, or smell the salt water or hear the waves break, or feel the beach, everytime I watch the sunset, you'll be with me.
