I’m a disabled artist raising funds to cover essential expenses for July 2025, including bills, household necessities, cat care, over-the-counter medical supplies, and needed car repairs***. I estimate needing around $1,500 to meet these costs.

I’ve been permanently disabled since April 2024 and am currently waiting on a disability determination. I have some financial support, but it isn’t enough to cover my monthly expenses. Due to limited mobility, I’m unable to walk any distance or take public transit, and reliable access to a functioning vehicle is necessary for basic errands and medical care. (The illustration above is an expression of the chronic pain causing my mobility issues.)

***07/21/2025 UPDATE: My car is once again not starting. Given prior experience with this car, I expect it to be a costly repair (likely several hundred, if not in the $700 range for a new starter + labor). Any funds raised this week will go towards that repair and my car payment.
