This is my son, Joseph Michael Simpkins. Joe came into our lives when he was 15 years old and became a lasting part of our family. And, for a time, he had a very successful life, married, good husband, father and financially secure. Then, the terrible abuses in his childhood caught up with him and he could no longer function normally. Mental illness engulfed him and he turned to alcohol to compensate. It's a common story, i know and although many tried to help, Joe just wasn't winning the battle. And, i promise you, he was truly fighting to get stability. But, his battle ended when he passed away unexpectedly at the age of 53 this past Friday, October 31st, 2025.

I am asking for donations to pay for his cremation which will be around $2200.
