Help Cover Jacob Bradley Lewis's Funeral Costs

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jacob Bradley Lewis. Jacob was a bright spark in this world and will be deeply missed. He touched the lives of so many and it’s our turn to give back to his family in their time of need. We are raising money to cover the costs of the funeral and memorial services for Jacob’s family as his passing was completely unexpected. Jacob leaves behind many family and friends that loved him dearly. The family is understandably shocked by this loss and unfortunately not prepared for all that goes along with planning a funeral at this time.

Jacob was a light in this world. Through the tough times, through the adversity, the challenges, and the pain, he shone through with a special light. It’s not fair that he shone brightly for only a short time.

Jacob’s autism diagnosis at an early age gave us the gift of perspective. He reminded us that most of our problems are not really problems, and to be grateful for what we have. We must savor the sweet, beautiful moments we have every day, because ultimately life is fragile and someday all too soon, we must say goodbye.

Through Jacob, we have learned the simple pleasures of life, and what a profound impact they can have on us. We were never sure how much Jacob could understand, but we did know that he understood he was loved. Jacob loved everyone he encountered in life. He loved his Stoner-Thomas family and going to school. He loved attending church and listening to music. He never missed an opportunity to gather a group of people to stand in a circle and pray for him. He loved his birthday and opening presents so much that at every birthday party Jacob attended, his father would make sure he had a gift to open.

The tremendous loss that this family has experienced will leave such a devastating impact on them.
