My family and I are facing a dire situation, and we are asking for your support.
Amna Sinada (83 years), mother to myself and my siblings Amal, Yasir and Shaza and grandmother to, Haitham, Ammar, and Noor and 11 others suffered a severe stroke while visiting my brother in Saudi Arabia. The stroke was sudden and devastating. Since then, she has fallen into a coma and doctors have discovered multiple blood clots spreading through her body. She is currently in the ICU, fighting for her life.
Because this happened while she was abroad, we have no access to her home country’s medical coverage. The hospital in Saudi Arabia charges $2,000 USD per day for the ICU room alone, and every scan, test, or additional treatment is charged separately.
At this point, the costs have grown to nearly $50,000 and continue to rise daily. We are doing everything we can as a family, but the financial burden has become too much for us to handle alone.
We want to ensure that Amna receives the critical care she needs right now while we work toward stabilising her and bringing her home safely. Every contribution will go directly toward her ICU fees, medical scans, treatments, and any emergency procedures required.
This is a very difficult situation for us and we are desperately trying to give her every chance possible.
If you are able to help, we are deeply grateful. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this page. Thank you
—Mohamed Hamid Elamin and family.
