I am here asking for help as on Saturday April 19th my Chihuahua (Hershey) was attacked in our yard by a stray dog. I fought the dog off but my Hershey sustained massive injuries. My son and I rushed him to the hospital but by the time we arrived there was very little they could do and he passed away. Hershey was my mother’s dog and truly her best friend and life companion. My mother passed away three years ago and I have taken care of her fur son as she did. He became best friends with my red nose pit. (He was terrified of him at first) and loading Hershey feels like kissing my mother all over again. I need help desperately to cover the hospital bill and cremation for Hershey, as my son wishes to keep his ashes. My son is devastated by the loss more than I am. Anything that anyone can do to help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless.
