Hello,

My mother is a kind, cheerful, caring, helpful and generous human being. She is a loving mother and grandmother of three amazing grandchildren.

Unfortunately, my mother has to undergo a surgery procedure called

Aortobifemoral bypass graft. (Aortic blockage)

As many of you know, she has been a server at the Walrus Room (phenomenal restaurant in Genava) for about 3 plus years. She loves serving people and building relationships with her regulars. I think the hardest part for her, other than not being able to stand for more than 30 minutes, is the fact that she isn't able to work. She is passionate about what she does.

Fortunately, most of her medical expenses are covered under her insurance. There will be some additional bills that will not be covered. That also includes rent, utilities, food and etcetera.

The recovery time is expected to be several months with inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. I have created this GoFundMe or rather GoFundHer to help cover the misc cost of her exspenses and minimalistic lifestlye.
