Help Cover Glasgow's Emergency Surgery!

I didn't plan on a GoFundMe, but after being encouraged to try by several friends, I thought I'd give it a shot:

This week has been a blur. Glasgow started spitting up Monday night. By Tuesday afternoon, he was only getting worse, so I left work early and took him to the emergency vet. By 11pm he was in surgery.

Two emergency vet hospitals, hours of crying, three sleepless nights, a maxed-out credit card and $5000 later, and he’s home confined to the bathroom for a two-week recovery, completely doped up.

Little ass broke into the sewing kit and ate a piece of string. It got tied around his tongue and caught in his intestines. A $5000 piece of thread.

My poor little monster.

Anyway, thank goodness he is insured, but his insurance only covers 80% and doesn't cover the over $500 in emergency exam fees at all. I just finished grad school and started a new job, and this financial hit was unexpected. Any help would be hugely appreciated!
