Help Cover Gizmo's Medical Costs

Hi! Our names are Jake and Crystal, and we're the loving parents of 6-year-old Gizmo, the Chihuahua. Gizzy boy isn't your run-of-the-mill Chihuahua. He's not an ankle biter or a loudmouth who yelps at leaves blowing in the wind. He's a lover, not a fighter. He's a cuddler, and he loves ice cream. He was and is Crystal's emotional support dog since before I even met her and has been with her through her roughest days to her best days.

Gizmo was recently diagnosed with Immune Mediated Haemolytic Anaemia, or IHMA. It is a disease where the body’s immune system destroys its own red blood cells. This often leads to severe anemia and poor oxygen delivery to multiple organs such as the kidneys, liver, brain, etc.

He's currently in an animal hospital, and it looks like he'll be there for the foreseeable future, given the severity of this. The money we're asking for will help provide blood transfusions, any and all medications, and the boarding costs that the hospital charges, all to one day see him come home to us.

Please help us get our dog back home and healthy.
