Help Us Fight for My Momma: A Loving Grandmother(GaGa) Kimberly Roeder Battling Stage 4 Lung Cancer

Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

Our hearts are heavy as i share that my beloved momma, a woman who has touched so many lives with her kindness and selflessness, has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that may have spread to her brain. She is not just a mother, wife, aunt and friend. She is the heart of our family and the cherished grandmother to eight beautiful grandchildren who adore her more than words can express.

Anyone who knows my momma knows she has a heart of gold. She has spent her entire life putting others first, offering a helping hand to anyone in need without hesitation. Whether it’s a warm meal, a listening ear, or unwavering support, she has always been there for others. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her as she faces the toughest fight of her life.

This journey is not one we expected, and as you can imagine, the financial burden of her treatment is overwhelming. She is beginning aggressive therapies and treatments in hopes of defeating this disease, but the medical bills, travel expenses, and day to day costs are quickly adding up. We are determined to do everything we can to give her the best chance at recovery and to surround her with the love and support she needs to fight.

My mom has chosen to seek treatment at Envita Medical Center in Arizona, a world renowned facility that specializes in personalized, cutting edge cancer care tailored specifically to each patient's unique body and needs. This treatment gives her the best chance at fighting this disease, but the cost is overwhelming. Insurance does not cover any of it, and the total cost of her treatment is estimated to be around $200,000, not including travel and living expenses while she is there.

I am asking for your help. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly toward her medical care, treatment, and ensuring she can focus on healing without the added stress of financial strain. Your generosity will also help us create moments of joy and comfort for her and her grandchildren, who mean the world to her.

UPDATE 1/1/2025

Just recently 12/30, she went to the hospital, where they discovered two blood clots, one in her leg and one in her lung. She was given medication and discharged after doctors believed she was stable. I called her at midnight to wish her a Happy New Year, she seemed fine. But when she woke up this morning, she didn't know where she was or why she was there. Doctors now believe she may have had a seizure or a stroke. The unknown is terrifying, and we are doing everything we can to get her the care and answers she desperately needs.
