On July 18, 2025, our family experienced a heartbreaking loss — our beloved grandma unexpectedly passed away after suffering a major stroke. The news came suddenly and has left all of us in deep grief. She was loving, selfless, and full of faith.

As soon as we heard the news, my parents flew to the Philippines to be with our family and help make arrangements for her funeral. Between the emergency travel, medical bills and the unexpected funeral expenses, the financial burden has been overwhelming.
