Help Cover Funeral Expenses for Luis Cancino

Es difícil crear una cuenta de GoFundMe para recaudar fondos para mi papá, pero él quería hacerlo antes de su fallecimiento porque sabía que nuestra familia lo necesitaría, así que esto se hace en su honor para cubrir los gastos funerarios y otros gastos que tendremos que cubrir.

Mi papá, Luis Cancino, fue el hombre más fuerte, valiente y bondadoso, y cualquiera que lo conoció estaría de acuerdo. Luchó contra el cáncer desde 2019 y supimos su diagnóstico en 2022. A pesar del dolor y las cirugías, continuó trabajando como electricista para llevar luz a los hogares de otras personas. Trabajó para mantener a su familia incluso con cáncer y no se detuvo hasta que su cuerpo comenzó a perder fuerza.

El 18 de abril, despertó por última vez y luchó hasta su último aliento. Estuvo rodeado de muchos familiares y amigos en su casa en su último día, tal como él lo deseaba. Es un momento muy doloroso, pero nuestra familia está en paz sabiendo que ya no sufre. Dios gano otro ángel en el cielo.

It’s hard making a GoFundMe account to raise funds for my dad, but he wanted that before he passed because he knew our family would need it, so this is made in his honor to cover funeral costs and other expenses we will have to cover.

My dad, Luis Cancino, was the strongest, bravest, and kindest man, and anyone that knew him would agree. He was battling cancer since 2019, and we discovered his diagnosis in 2022. Through the pain and the surgeries, he continued to work as an electrician to bring light into other people’s homes. He worked to provide for his family even while having cancer and didn’t stop until his body began to lose strength.

On April 18th, he woke up one last time and fought till his very last breath. He was surrounded by so much family and friends in his home on his last day, just as he wanted it. It is a very painful time, but our family is at peace knowing he is no longer suffering. God gained another angel.
