This week, me and my family we’re shattered by a tragic lost. Lee’Lani was taken from us too soon from a senseless act of violence in Her community.

May 16th, 2025, she has been taken off life support after being declared brain dead.

My baby Lee’lani was a sweet, vibrant, and fun 9-year old child who loved and was loved by everyone around her. She was a leader and ensured all her younger family members were protected. Her smile is unforgettable, and her personality was infectious.

She is survived by her devoted and loving parents Letisha and Tyron who is also the beneficiary of this fundraiser.

She is also survived by her older brother, younger sister, and varied family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who admired her and is now left with a missing piece to their hearts.

As we grieve and process this devastating loss, we as a family and community are asking for support during this tough situation and time.

This campaign has been created to help cover funeral cost and assist us with the unforeseen expenses during this time. I hope this act of kindness can help alleviate a little of the the pain we are facing.
