He made his way through life like no one thought he ever would. He pushed through and moved out on his own. He married and was a widower. He loved family and his wife very much. Roger Dale Linkous of Beckley, WV, passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 70 years.

Born August 2, 1954 in Beckley, WV, he was the son of the late Russell Randolph Linkous and Vergie Waddell Linkous.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, whom he dearly loved, Brenda; his brothers, James, Richard, Wallace and Thurman Peters, Clyde “Kenny” Waddell, David Linkous and his sisters, Lua May Peters and Barbara Waddell.

Those left to cherish his memory are his twin, Arnold Linkous of Danese, WV, sister, Eloise Linkous Hardin of Daniels, WV and brother, John D Waddell of Tampa, Florida. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Roger will be cremated and there will be no services at this time.
