(4/30/21): John, my 14-year-old cousin, is currently in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital.
Over the past few years, John has been battling Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma and Hyper IgE Syndrome (a rare immunodeficiency disease). He underwent a Bone Marrow Transplant in March, but due to complications, he has been inpatient ever since.
Because of his critical condition, his mom needs to be at his bedside 24 hours per day, 7 days a week to sign medical consents and provide emotional support for him.
His father is the sole provider for the family and commutes almost 200 miles each day to his work located in San Diego. He drives an additional 40 miles from home to visit John at the hospital.
I am asking you to help my family during this difficult time.
Every dollar makes a huge difference. All donations will go towards helping cover medical bills, gas expenses, and any additional expenses - so John's mother and father focus on being there for him as he fights for his life.
If you are not able to donate, please SHARE and help us spread the word!
