- I
We’ve come to the final chapter of a long and painful cancer journey, and we are deeply grateful for the ten extra years we were given—years we never took for granted. By the Lord’s grace, we held on.
My husband worked tirelessly as a union laborer after coming to this country. He was a devoted, hardworking man who stepped up to care for me and my six children without hesitation. He gave so much to this country, but due to an error in paperwork, he was denied access to the pension he spent a lifetime earning.
Early this morning, on May 14 at 3:05 a.m., my beloved husband took his final breath surrounded by my family and I. Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful that he is now at peace and free from pain.
I had taken time off work to be with him during his final days, and now we begin the journey of honoring his life and saying goodbye. If you’re able to contribute, any donation—big or small—would help ease the burden of bills, medical expenses, and upcoming funeral costs. Your support means more than words can express.
Thank you for walking with us through this incredibly difficult time.
